Julianne wrote to me last week after I was having a pretty crappy day, and totally changed it around with her note. Apparently, she’s been trying to come up with a theme for a party she’s hosting, and after seeing the Esther Coombs cakestand post, came up with a modern tea party theme! She put together this inspiration that day and I just had to show it off here, it would make a great bridal shower! Thanks Julianne!

As an interior designer, its hard for me to not be inspired by amazing interiors, so seeing these pops of color in otherwise gray environments makes me see incredibly sophisticated wedding palettes. Can you see yourself using these colors?

It was so nice to get this wedding in my mailbox from a lovely lady by the name of Tory Williams that I went to college with…we were in the same photography class and she was plenty talented then, just as she is now! The details from this wedding are just the sweetest…cookies matching the dress? Love it!
DRESS: Ralph Lauren Collection, “Fillippa Dress”. I modified the collar into a ruffle, added bustles underneath to tie the front up after the ceremony, and added the satin black ribbon.
