Colorful invites
How rad are these invitations by Kati Forner for her friends wedding?
This suite was designed for a good friend of mine. Since the wedding is taking place outdoors in Sedona, Arizona we knew we wanted to borrow from the beautiful landscape and pair black and white desert textures with bright, colorful floral overlays. From the start the bride was clear that she did not want a traditional look. We decided that we wanted to do a collage approach for the main invitation and carry that look throughout the other pieces in the suite. Each suite included a main invitation enclosed in a black and white polka dot lined pink envelope, a reply card and pink envelope wrapped together with black and white twine and an information card. Each invitation was closed with a customized black wax seal.

WINK inspiration shoot
So I’m finally (kinda) back from all my travels the last few weeks….thanks so much to all my guest bloggers who covered for me! I’m still catching up on emails and plan on sharing some photos, but wanted to share this awesome styled shoot that was sent to me by KIM+PHIL Photography. I love this modern take on the traditional wedding! From the colors to the shapes, to incorporating kids, it all just screams fun!
WINK takes a modern perspective on the traditional wedding. Our inspiration is based off of Lindsay Zogas of Paper Bloom’s, charismatic personality—colorful + effervescent + loving + colors. We transformed these aspects into every component for the design of the shoot. Using bold colors to bring a new spin on traditional wedding attire. Incorporating graphically charged the decor and paper products with an assortment of font- types and patterns to bring in Lindsay’s passion for design. While featuring some playful children and games to integrate Lindsay’s values about home and family.
