Alya’s save the date
My sister-in-law is an architect (dub-studios.com) and made these for us in photoshop. We had seen someone do something with the subway before so we kind of took that idea and made it our own. You’ll see that the advertisement above the subway is actually a picture of me and Aaron (we got dressed up in Spain and took one of those cheesy tourist photos). The picture is taken at the NR stop on Prince Street and Broadway, next to Dean & Deluca. The back of the postcard was written as if this were a piece of art, and we wrote in personal notes to every guest before sending!
Elizabeth’s save the date
Love your blog and saw your post on STDs. Must share ours, which my future brother in law fashioned. We have just under 3 weeks to go, and am beyond stressed. When I saw your post I had to share just for a second to take me back to how happy and calm I was just a few months ago…
Ellenmarie’s save the date – craigslist style!
I am a fan of your blog and saw a few of the other save-the-dates posted so I thought I’d send you ours. It was a single card with info on the front and back that looked like a Craiglist ad. I met my fiance, Brett, a few years ago when I answered a craigslist posting for a room in a house in Philadelphia. One of Brett’s roommates moved out and they posted the ad. I didn’t take the room but we ended up chatting through email and eventually got together. We are getting married on Nov 29 and I can’t freakin wait!!!
