Another year, another birthday, so yes, another survey! I’m taking the day off from posting with the hopes that you’ll enlighten me with some of your reader wisdom by taking my annual survey….it should only take a couple of minutes and would really help me out. As a thank you, if you leave your email address once you’re finished, you’ll have a chance to win lots of chalkboard goodies from Paper+Cup Design! You’ll be getting a calendar, set of mixed greet cards, boxset of thank you flat cards, a custom print in white frame, personalized notebook & a white pen. [the survey will be open for a whole week so the winner will be announced next Wednesday]
Thanks in advance!

I’m super excited to share this collaboration between Brooklyn Bride and the uber-talented Minhee of Paper+Cup Design! I was approached by MyWedding last year to team up with some invitation designers to create some modern wedding websites for couples, and matching invitations to go along with them. Starting from scratch with just some inspiration images from me, Minhee came up with some really great designs that are super modern, brightly colored and totally fun. Check out the full collection here….next up, we’ll be showing off the lovely matching websites!

Hi there everyone at Brooklyn Bride, it’s good to be back. My inspiration this week is a Forest Fairytale kind of wedding. One of our Urbanic brides recently shared some photos with me of her wedding day and I was charmed by her use of woodland silhouettes for the table numbers and escort cards. Since I’ve been craving being outdoors in the woods lately, this was a good post to put together and vicariously live it out through!
carved wood reception pieces by Bragging Bags • tree invitations by Wiley Valentine and Pear & Marmalade • deer invitation set by Paper + Cup • swallow invitation by I do it Yourself, • boutonniere found here, • squirrel table card from Sabena’s wedding • lollypops by Merci New York • forest invitation by April Ink
I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out at Minhee’s studio, and its one of the most fun I’ve ever seen! Adorable products and treasures at every turn!
And be sure to check out the Deals + Events page…lots of good stuff coming up!

What is your aesthetic?: Simple + Modern designs with a vintage twist
How does your studio style convey your professional aesthetic? We mixed vintage furniture with modern ones
Favorite part of your studio?: Our wall unit, we have a tiny space and it’s perfect to store all our paper work as well as have space for displaying our work.
Where do you go for inspiration?: Visiting flea markets, watching old movies and taking walks around the city with Tru
What tool do you use in your business that you can’t live without?: My computer and my craft tools like the xacto, ruler and cutting mat
Is there anything you’d upgrade to?: We have access to a small roof deck right outside one of our windows, I would love to fix it up so we can hang out or do some of our meetings out there.
Anything else we should know?: I’m a big pack rat and Tru is super organized, neat and tidy. I try to be that way but find it stifles my creativity! So he lives with all the scraps of paper and found objects all over the office that I consider my little treasures.
