This black and white photo of us is one of my favorites from our September 2006 wedding. The wedding was in a contemporary art gallery at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. While I’m not typically a fan of posed photos, this one really captured the mood of the evening…modern mixed with vintage, elegant yet whimsical and fun.

Saw Emily’s work on Oh Joy! and had to post! I love how organic her work is, taking cues from the sea. Who knew squid tentacles could be sexy?
