It’s not often I get shots of the rehearsal dinner included with a wedding submission, but when its a cool lobster bake out in the Hamptons, its a total treat! And seriously, check out the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses…I’m in love with the texture!
For our wedding, we wanted a relaxed and casual atmosphere and as our friends and family flew in from all around the world, we hosted a few events throughout the weekend so my California friends and family could meet my husband’s British-based friends and family. For the rehearsal dinner, we invited everyone to a private beach in Southampton for a Lobster Bake. Our friends and family had the opportunity to relax on the beach in the summer sun and later in the evening we all roasted marshmallows under the stars. It was wonderful to work with Kelly Guenther throughout the weekend – she captured the entire weekend so beautifully – the photos really reflect the emotion and intimacy of the weekend. Our wedding ceremony and reception was hosted at Wolffer Estates in Sagaponack. Sag Harbour florists designed a beautiful chuppa for our ceremony, my highschool friend Amy Claire designed my bridesmaid dresses and my dear friend Alexa Rodulfo did my hair and makeup. Fresh Flavours served us local Long Island Duck and The Engagements played great music so we all danced the night away.
