Tomorrow I head to the Middle East for the wedding of a very dear friend of mine, but first I thought I’d share a fun outfit I got to wear for her garden party bridal shower a few weeks ago. All the guests were asked to wear hats, but I thought I’d do one better and find a fabulous fascinator to wear a la the Brits. Of course my first thought was Jennifer Behr, and she did not disappoint! They sent over the most beautiful black floral fascinator….a perfect complement to my black and white polka dot dress! Thanks Catanna & Jennifer!

Its been awhile since I’d checked out JCrew‘s wedding options, but they’re still kickin’ it with great designs! I love the shorter dresses for elopements or city hall, and the long ones are just chic for any kind of wedding!

This photo above is so striking, right? Who knew a staircase could be so sexy? This wedding’s got lots of fun details, right down to the table numbers (photos of door numbers!). Enjoy!
Seth and I knew we wanted a relatively small, daytime wedding. Something simple but still elegant, modern but with some soft touches. We wanted everything to feel youthful, fresh, and urban. We have lived in New York for the past 5 years and this city just felt like the obvious place to get married. It is a part of who we are now. Despite a couple bumps along the way, in the end, I think we accomplished everything we set out to do. The ceremony was intimate and personal. The decor was unfussy. The food was delicious. Everything just felt really easy and very us.
