Real wedding: Jami + Andrew

Remember Jami & Andrew’s adorable engagement party book? Well these 2 crazy kids finally got hitched, and we’ve got the pictures to prove it! From the gorgeous rehearsal dinner above, to the stylish wedding below, Jami gives all the details from their destination wedding to Mexico!

Andrew and I went down a few days earlier to prepare the gift bags, (Andrew made cutting boards for each guest room!, I made polaroid postcards, we put together our playlist, wrote welcome notes to each guest.) I have to say, i’d recommend the “pre-moon” to everyone! By the time everyone got down to Mexico, we were relaxed and calm and had spent quality time together. Of course a wedding pulls you in so many directions, and since we had those earlier days to be alone and get a lot done, we could really give our family and friends that made the journey, all of our attention. From the very beginning, my vision was always to be relaxing by the pool and the beach with my family and friends on the morning of my wedding, not running around in chaos. The weather was gorgeous, and that is exactly what i did.
The weather report said rain all weekend, and although i said i wasnt going to worry about the weather, the night before everyone was arriving, i was seriously bumming. But it was amazing. As people started arriving, the clouds broke, and they stayed away for the entire weekend. As people were heading to the airport on Sunday morning, no joke, the rain came down in sheets. Andrew and I stayed behind for 2 days, and it was a complete downpour. I was so happy to see the rain then!!
It really was the weekend of a lifetime. We feel so lucky.
