i heart the BFF Bridal Event: Jennifer Behr

Jennifer Behr was one of the talented people I met last night at the BFF Event. She creates these spectacular headpieces that lean more towards the untraditional bride….perfect for me! I completely fell head over heels over her yellow feathered headpiece…they can come in an array of colors, but this particular one might actually work out perfectly for my green + white theme with a splash of yellow-y goodness! I also loved the patent leather orchid combs…very hip and modern…those also can come in different colors, but I think the white is a strong enough statement because of the texture. Best of all, she’s a Brooklyn girl! Check her out!

i heart brooklyn designers: five and a half

five and a half is a brooklyn based bookmaking and design studio started by Judy Lee. All the journals are lightweight, sustainable, and feature the art of some great photographers and illustrators. I got to see the Bushwick journal while at Cog and Pearl this past weekend, and completely fell in love. Great for gifts!

i heart brooklyn designers: Perch!

There are a few things I love about Amy Adams, designer for Perch ceramics….1) her products are handmade in Brooklyn 2) She went to Pratt (go Pratt!) and 3) her pieces are totally cute, functional, and make great gifts!

I’ve already gotten the small perch basket for myself and keep it near the kitchen to drop my ring in on the rare occasion I wash some dishes :) It looks great next to my Pamela Barksy piggy bank
