Photo favorites: Lisa Wong Jackson

Recently I asked bloggers and vendors alike to submit one photo that was a favorite from either their own wedding or a wedding they had worked on. Its so rare to see just one image that can define the whole event, or even just capture a moment that was filled with meaning and memories. I’ve been so happy they’ve shared these gems with me, and now I get to pass them along to you! Enjoy!

First off is Lisa of Good on Paper Design…..

The photo was taken by my photographer, Lisa Lefkowitz. The reason why it’s one of my favorites is because it was a spontaneous shot taken of Nick and I smiling/laughing during our dance. I love that my friends are in the background, and especially love that my mom and my grandmother are laughing in the background too.

If you’re having kids at your wedding, you’ll need some child friendly decorations…Martha Stewarts Good Things for Kids party issue has some great ideas…my favorite is the Initial party…use your own initials to decorate!

BFF Bridal Event!

The lovely ladies from BFF Bridal are having another one of their wonderful Best in Bridal Reception Showcase at the St. Regis Hotel in NYC September 25. You can sample truffles by Vosges (delish!!), check out the new line of bridesmaids dresses from Badgley Mischka, get floral tips from Bardin Palomo….its all just too much! Did I mention the giftbag? I will definitely be in attendance to check out all the goodies and get some great ideas…hope to see some of you there!
