Something about shooting into the setting sun always reminds me of an
old film, and since I studied film in school, I love photos that look
like movie stills. This one does that, and also, it was moment when
the camera was forgotten, and the couple was just being themselves
together (someone was asking them for directions on the street).

While I hate how meringue tastes, I just love how cute they look as a favor all lined up in a row…..

Paper Portfolio

The newest issue of InStyle Weddings is definitely one to get….I absolutely fell in love with the immensely creative Paper Portfolio…essentially they gave 5 stationers free reign to design their dream suite of invitations, programs, etc. Here are some of my favorites….I even highlighted my SUPER favorite parts!

This black and white photo of us is one of my favorites from our September 2006 wedding. The wedding was in a contemporary art gallery at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. While I’m not typically a fan of posed photos, this one really captured the mood of the evening…modern mixed with vintage, elegant yet whimsical and fun.
