photo favorites: hello!lucky

Sabrina + Eunice of hello!lucky invitations:

There were a lot to choose from but attached are two favorites of late. The first shows a couple of variations for our Classic Cowboy design, inspired by spurs, boot stitching, old posters, and of course cowboys. We love the old-world feel of it, and feel like it captures the romance of the old west while still being elegant enough for a wedding invitation. The second is our L’Oiseau design, inspired by wild flora and faunal we love the color combination of chocolate and lilac, and the lilac envelope lining. The photographs were taken by Sara Remington, a wonderful photographer who also shoots weddings.

Photo favorites: Tara Mandy

Tara Mandy from BFF Bridal:

The first one is a shot our photographer caught of the flower girls when they first saw “the bride” (me). You can see from their expressions how magical the whole experience was for them. I think that for a little girl, seeing a bride is probably right up there with seeing Santa Claus. And I love that.

The second one: Of the thousand or so pictures our photographer took, this one always makes me smile the most. For one thing, I can remember how much fun we were having right at that moment. But there are also some details—the earrings that he gave me as a wedding present, his wedding band, the buttons I bought for him in Portugal, the cheesy wedding cake topper (which was his ONE request in the whole year of wedding planning)—that I just find so personally endearing.
