I am sending you my wedding invitations in hopes that it might be interesting enough for your lovely blog! It was a red and blue themed wedding, and I illustrated the invitation with my husband and I sitting on a swing “swinging” into our new lives together forever! hehe!My husband and I both silkscreened the invitations at home, it was so fun!We also sent out funny RSVP cards, and a card to ask for tips about spain from our guests (because that is where we went on our honeymoon!). It was so much fun to see what all our guests wrote!I also included an image of our save-the-date cards, which we also designed and produced by silkscreen.

Va-va-voom! Gorgeous colors and shapes from Vera Wang! The grey one is absolutely darling, and I love the chunky jewelry.

I’m insanely inspired by your blog daily, my fiance and I are getting married at the New Leaf Cafe in May 09 and I wanted to share the Save the Date he designed with you.
He is a graphic designer and came up with this idea one night…
We were engaged on 6/7/08, when we contacted the new leaf about a wedding, the only date they had left was 5/8/09.
So therefore, 5/6/7/8/9. I suppose numerology is cool!

I have to interrupt my Save the Date series to show you these gorgeous photos! How BEAUTIFUL are these shots by wedding newcomer Max Wanger! He’s an editorial photographer that has just delved into the wonderful world of weddings, and I’m so glad he did…these photos just have a happy feel to them. [thanks Margaux!]
