09. 28. 2007 Photo favorites: Jordan Ferney

Jordan Ferney from Oh Happy Day:
One of my favorite things I did at my wedding was to create a giant spread of pretty cakes, cupcakes and petit fors. I collected milk glass cake plates for display and I gave the bakery specific instructions on cake decorating.

09. 28. 2007 Tate Modern party

This was a beyond cool fundraising party for the Tate Modern…how could I not have thought of this before? [interior designer = paint chips] David Stark was enlisted for the event design, and made it fabulous using paint chips as table numbers, chandeliers, and backdrops. And how easy! For the table numbers, just raid your local hardware store for the chips and grab some vinyl letters and you’re all set…[via Hue Consulting]

09. 27. 2007 i heart the BFF Bridal Event: Blue Ribbon Design

I was so happy to finally meet Kimberly of Blue Ribbon Design! Her work is even more beautiful in person and she’s such a sweetheart! Unfortunately the lighting was pretty dim at the St. Regis so only one photo came out decent, but I had to post a picture of my new favorite invite of hers called Wallpaper. The purples are just stunning! And that Merci card completely satisfied my utter label obsession….

09. 27. 2007 i heart the BFF Bridal Event: Vosges
Natalie and Joe from Vosges were another joy to meet [they just got married last month!]! Everyone knows I’m obsessed with their caramels, but darn it if I didn’t love the truffles too! They had these delicious peanut butter bonbons that were essentially an upscale peanut butter cup that put Reese’s to shame, and the Naga truffle of sweet indian curry, coconut, and milk chocolate was phenomenal. I am a huge fan of using their chocolate as favors because their flavors are so different and unique.

09. 26. 2007 i heart the BFF Bridal Event: One Girl Cookie
One Girl Cookie is a place on Dean Street in Brooklyn I’ve always wanted to try, but always happens to be closed when I’m in the neighborhood. All handmade and DELICIOUS, they just launched their new Cookie Bar for weddings last night at the BFF Event. There are many options…they can send the cookies to your caterers, they can set up the display for you at your location, or they can even be there to serve your guests! Contact dawn@onegirlcookies.com for more information……
[I'll have more from the Best in Bridal event tomorrow!]
