Parcel Post for Brooklyn Bride [no. 22]

Hey there Brooklyn Briders! It’s good to be back. In continuing the theme of my last post here, I wanted to highlight a few more invitation sets I discovered at the National Stationery Show. I often have couples sit down for an appointment In the bridal lounge at Urbanic and say to me, “We really want something special and unique and please, NO FLOWERS”. I thought the below two collections from Saima Says were nice alternatives…

Him to Him

So the stationery show a few weeks ago was a total bust for me…mostly because I was totally sick that entire weekend and did the entire show in 2 hours before heading back to bed.  Luckily, in my DayQuil induced haze, I did get a chance to find a new company, Him to Him, that caters to the GLBT community with a line of cards thats both sophisticated and modern.

Parcel Post for Brooklyn Bride [no.21]

As some of you might already know, I’ve been very busy over the last couple of days putting together a recap of the 2010 National Stationery Show on Parcel Post. While at the show I was happy to discover some new wedding invitations I hadn’t seen before. First up is Gilah a letterpress line out of Baltimore. We carry the card line in the shop currently so I was glad to see her clean, modern aesthetic in the form of invitations.

Next is 42 Pressed. I’m loving the creative typography, the quirky fanciness and use of those fabric belly bands.

New Ketubah

Tsilli from New Ketubah just emailed to let me know about her new line of ketubah’s utilizing of all things, polaroids, along with her trademark hand stitching.  So beautiful, right?  She’s also got a DIY ketubah kit for download on her site, which you can get right here.

New invitations from NicStudio

The lovely Nicole Block of NicStudio has 5 new ready-made wedding suites coming out in June…they’re all pretty swell, but of course, I’m partial to the Brooklyn themed ones.  You can never have too much Brooklyn!
