Palette Generator

I wish I could have known about the Palette Generator months ago for a current interiors project, but at least now I can pass on the info…upload a photo and the generator comes up with a color palette based on the picture. Great for turning that favorite room of yours into the perfect wedding. [via The Paper Pony]

MY inspiration board

I haven’t really shared too much about our wedding, so today I want to show you my own inspiration board. We’re getting married next April at Stage 6 in Steiner Studios, and while we’re having a fairly formal affair, since I’m an interior designer and Chad’s an architect, we definitely wanted to have some fun and tone down the seriousness a bit. Most of that will come through our color palette of green and white with hints of yellow, and little touches here and there [still TBD for the most part]. We’re definitely not the frou-frou type, so everything we do we try to keep very architectural and clean, right down to the cake.
