Finally, I received my issue of Eliza Magazine, complete with wedding section. After searching EVERY magazine stand I could find in NYC and Brooklyn to no avail, I gave in and got myself a subscription. I especially liked the Rock and Roll photo shoot….I glad they found wedding dresses that were both demure AND sexy at the same time. I’m pretty crazy over those combat boots too!

Some people might hate this, but I am ALL for the veil and feather look Carrie has going on….especially after seeing this….
Jennifer Behr was one of the talented people I met last night at the BFF Event. She creates these spectacular headpieces that lean more towards the untraditional bride….perfect for me! I completely fell head over heels over her yellow feathered headpiece…they can come in an array of colors, but this particular one might actually work out perfectly for my green + white theme with a splash of yellow-y goodness! I also loved the patent leather orchid combs…very hip and modern…those also can come in different colors, but I think the white is a strong enough statement because of the texture. Best of all, she’s a Brooklyn girl! Check her out!

Look what the postman brought me last night! Yes, ladies, I succumbed to the peer pressure of your comments and got the darn bag from JCrew…a little more gunmetal-y than expected, but gorgeous nontheless. Did you know its made of Italian suede with this crackle treatment on top? Eventually the crackle will start to peel off, but this will just add to lovely, vintage feel of it. sigh….I love my Chipotle burrito bag. [pardon the not so great pics]
