Laurie of lalalaurie emailed me last night with her new collection of boutonnieres and I fell in love! I’ve totall been seeing a trend of whimsical bouts incorporating feathers and such, and I love how men AND women can wear these. That double deer one is mine!

I had my first dress fitting yesterday since buying the dress 11 months ago….and whew, it sure makes all this feel real. Here’s a sneak peak….

I’ve always loved Jane’s stuff ever since I saw some of her jewelry at Auto. She’s got some new pieces that are just fabulous for brides….especially her clear, pyrex necklaces…edgy, hip, and stylish.

Felt buttons

I was browsing around the sale section at Reprodepot last night and these Japanese felt buttons caught my eye! I bought a bunch for my coat, but could totally see these sewn onto a bouquet, or maybe the flower girls headband….

Linda Lee Johnson

Chad and I have managed to finally get some wedding things done recently, including finding the wedding band of my dreams! Its by jewelry designer Linda Lee Johnson, who is exclusively sold at Barneys New York, as far as I can tell. I wish I could show you a picture, but any photos I’ve taken don’t do it justice, and there isn’t one online, so I thought I’d share some of her other work.
