Ensembles: The Romantic Bride

There have been a number of white dresses on runways from the most recent fashion weeks. Though they aren’t necessarily for brides, they sure are a refreshing departure from the standard gown. Alexander McQueen’s embroidered tulle and silk chiffon dress is a beautiful inspiration for the feminine, romantic bride.

1. Triple Bronze Chain, $150 | 2. Citrine Cushion Studs, $72 | 3. Laurel Bouquet Necklace, $62 | 4. Scale Set Bracelet, $22 | 5. Bronze Pearl Branch Strand, $210 | 6. Frond Cuff, $34 | 7. Stoned Links, $72 | 8. Glam Lozenge Drops, $88 | 9. Champagne Crystal Bib, $36

Can’t decide whether to wear gold or silver for your big day?  Easy solution – wear neither!  Bronze and copper metals look great as statement pieces of jewelry and will give your look at great modern vintage twist. For all you art deco lovers, bronze and copper lends itself beautifully to that romantic era.

As an aside, have you seen all the great jewelry on Bauble Bar?  The prices are super reasonable and the selection is great.  Would make really nice bridesmaid gifts too! – Tram @ Phi-Style.com

Crowns + Tiaras

I’ve never been a huge tiara fan, but I’ve been warming up to the idea lately after seeing some that have been done a bit differently. Royal imagery can be be a bit dull if it’s too traditional, but try freshening it up in a new and modern way just by changing up a few elements like materials and colors. Perhaps you could scale down the traditional tiara like this Swedish bride did above. Or perhaps you add in fun colors to a paper crown like Australian paper artist Anna Gleeson.
