11. 25. 2009 Happy Thanksgiving + card swap

amy atlas thanksgiving

Happy happy thanksgiving everyone!  Much like everyone else, I’m taking the rest of the week off to reflect, relax, and rip into some turkey down south in Louisiana, so I’ll see you back here on Monday!

And don’t forget….

holiday card swap header

If you’re interested but having signed up for the card swap yet, today at 3pm EST is your last chance, so don’t delay!  No joke, this is the biggest swap we’ve have yet!  I keep having to go out and buy more envelopes!  See the full info at the original post. CARD SWAP IS NOW CLOSED

Oh, and there’s been a question some of you have had about how the swap works…essentially you’re sending 1 card to each person in your card swap group, and its as if you’re sending a card to a friend, so yes, feel free to write a note inside!

10. 30. 2009 Happy Halloween

AmyAtlas_Halloween

A little early, but enjoy the SPOOOOKY weekend!  I’m curious, if YOU were getting married this weekend, would you go all out with a Halloween theme?

09. 17. 2009 Quickie

Time Out New York is looking for real New Yorkers who’ve gotten married in non-traditional wedding attire.  If you fit the bill, e-mail personalshopper@timeoutny.com.

09. 08. 2009 Hey NJ, lets help Dawn

Lets team up everyone and help Dawn from NJ find a cool place to get married!  Leave any tips below in the comments…thanks!

I don’t know if there is anyway you can help me or not but I love your website and am always looking through it so I thought it may be worth a shot contacting you. My fiance and I are having the hardest time finding a venue/wedding site we like in NJ..specifically the northern, NJ areas.  I know you are a brooklyn based site and brooklyn is actually where I am from but we recently moved to NJ so we want to stay closer to our home. We want something simpler and modern and we definitely don’t want the typical wedding factory vibe.  I would love a farm/barn or great garden style site but we can’t seem to find anything.  Any ideas?  Any info you might know of to help us find our dream site would be greatly appreciate! Thanks in advance for your time!

08. 31. 2009 Annual reader survey

Since this week is going to be a short one for me (yay Labor Day weekend!), I figured it was as good a time as any to do my annual reader survey…I’d really appreciate you taking the time to fill it out! Its always nice to see whats working and what you guys like!

I’ll be giving away a special package for one lucky survey taker…it will include an autographed copy of Wedding Chic by Colin Cowie, as well as lots of goodies from The B-List conference (its a surprise)!  Just be sure to leave your email address at the end of the survey, winner announced Thursday afternoon.
