I always wanted a photobooth, but the cost of it ($2000!!!) was definitely a deterrent. I asked Belathée what I could do, and they suggested hiring their friend Jerome to run a makeshift photobooth…he’s an incredibly talented photographer, and without hesitating or seeing any of his work, I was sold. I sewed that green polkadot fabric I had bought a while ago for the backdrop, but he also changed it up a little with the gold lamé fabric which was just hilarious. My girl R brought some cool props, I provided the Kanye West glasses and statue of liberty hat, and we were golden! The photos speak for themselves. If you’re interested in doing something similar, contact Jerome at Photomaton Chic.

Hey everyone! I promised myself I was going to let the blog take its course while over here on my honeymoon, but I got this sneak peak from Belathee Photography and just had to show it to you! We’ve been having an amazing time so far, and its just going to get better because today we’re heading to Paris by train! I’ve been getting lots of emails while away, but will be responding when I return, so hold tight!

Michelle of Layer Cake Films just contacted me about her wedding film company…and I’m really impressed! They shoot beautifully in super 8, and really capture the essence of fun couples. I also like how you don’t necessarily have to have them film your wedding to get a super 8 video…they have a package where you get a super 8 camera, film and instructions, and after your wedding, you return everything and they edit it into a homemade film. Its a great way to have a family friend or member get involved in your wedding! Definitely check them out!
