Engagement shoot: Megan + Nathan

Can’t go wrong with a Coney Island shoot!  If you want shots taken there too, better hurry, because those rides are going to be extinct soon!

Photos took place on Coney Island ~ Megan and Nathan love vintage, especially the 50s and are planning on having a 50s –esk Christmas wedding this upcoming Dec.  We took the photos to go with that look since they also wanted to incorporate their engagement photos into their wedding day, using moo cards with their photos on them as “ornaments” on the Christmas tree ~ on the other side will have all the guests names and table seats.

NotWedding pics

Oh my god, I’ve literally been DYING to see the pictures from the NotWedding last month, and they finally ended up in my mailbox!  Our Labor of Love did a great job capturing each different flavor from the event, from formal to picnic…if I ever swooned, it would be now.  Check out all the talented vendors involved at the NotWedding blog.

NY Mag Wedding recap

This year was my third round of the NY Magazine Wedding Event, and it could possibly be the best one yet!  More vendors, BETTER vendors, but space to walk around…all add up to a successful event.  Here are some of my favorites from last night….

Happiness abounds at Jenny Ebert‘s table, designed by Barb at Hatch Creative.  Those flowers were crazy cool.

Beautiful arrangement from the geniuses over at Takashimaya…so good to reconnect with my old middle school buddy Peter who is now their Creative Director!
