I came across these pocket squares at Paul Smith in Soho the other week and fell in love….they’re neon and punchy! Great way to give your groom a little color!

Phi-Style: Mens Accessories
I was reading about Kris Van Assche’s mens Spring 2011 collection and came across an amazing photo that became the inspiration for this post.
I’ve often heard complaints that menswear, groom and groomsmen attire included, was difficult to add style since the range of accessories and “possibilities” was limited. I beg to differ. In recent years, I’m sure many of you brides have seen mens wedding attire shift away from the traditional black tux, and trend I embraced with open arms. But is it just me, or have the colorful socks and bow ties become less original and more tired trend? Hey, I’m not knocking it – if you look at my OWN wedding photos, you would see said bow ties and socks! However, after seeing Kris Van Assche’s collection dotted with demure, yet stated accessories, I thought about how many other accessories could be incorporated into a groom or groomsman’s attire.
