Ceci NY needs no introduction…their invitations are usually on the top of brides wishlists…so getting to see them in person is always a thrill for me. That black and white program cover with the yellow ribbon was especially delightful.

Sigh, I love Mel Barlow‘s work….I even loved meeting her in person! She is so sweet and talented, its hard not to. I’ll post more on this particular wedding soon….its a winner!

Wedding Party recap: Laura Nadeau

I think every bride in NYC has at least heard about Laura Nadeau and the fabulous job she does beautifying brides. Its really no exaggeration…Laura and her partner, Virginia Meyers, were present conducting beauty trials at the Wedding Party event and the results were just amazing. Erica even got in on some of the fun! Laura and Virginia also have a new site called Bubble & Lo where they teach women all the secrets to applying makeup flawlessly!

Wedding Party recap

Whew, such a whirlwind of activity happened on Saturday at the Wedding Party event, I hardly know where to start! Most exciting was getting to meet some of the people I’ve written about and admired for so long….like Jenny Ebert, Mel Barlow, and April Reed just to name a few…and getting to hear talks from the likes of Reem Acra, Preston Bailey and Darcy Miller [thanks for the shout-out Darcy!]. This event really brought the best of the best all into one place and made them very accessible to all brides. But best of all, was getting to share the experience with some of my blogging friends, Anne from perfectbound and Erica of Thoughtful Day – check out their blogs for more info and pics from the day.
