Brooklyn LGBTQ Wedding Expo
The Brooklyn LGBTQ 2013 Wedding Expo: features an eclectic array of fabulous vendors. Admission is FREE; all proceeds benefit Brooklyn Community Pride Center. Live entertainment hosted by “The By+ch Tyler Alyxander” and featuring performances by Kirsten Holly Smith from Forever Dusty, drag divas Peppermint Gummybear and Strolling Tables and cabaret sensation William Blake plus a special appearance by Angela “Big Ang” Raiola of the hit VH1 reality series Mob Wives. Lovesick Expo
The Lovesick Expo features an elite array of local talent, unique wedding ideas, hand-crafted, and eco-friendly goods, appealing to indie-minded couples. This allows soon-to-be-weds to experience the full-spectrum of options available to them, especially those beyond the expected. Unlike traditional expos, Lovesick is proud to be an earth-friendly, guy-friendly, and same-sex-couple-friendly event! Saturday, 10am-3pm, Music Hall of Williamsburg. Washingtonian Unveiled
More than 400 brides, grooms, and members of the wedding party attended last year’s event, and more are expected this year. The area’s most renowned wedding vendors—including event planners, photographers, florists, bakers and caterers—will be on hand to offer expert advice and make appointments for wedding services. Guests can also sample delicious and innovative hors d’oeuvres, wedding cakes, and desserts from The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C.
