Minted, the fabulous online stationery shop, is hosting a new contest that I’m happy to be a part of! They’re looking for 3 couples to be the inspiration for their latest design challenge…the pre-wedding card. This could be anything from an engagement party or bridal shower, to the rehearsal dinner, etc. (Any wedding related party that happens before the wedding). To enter, please send the following information by January 19th to email@example.com:
Bride’s and groom’s names
Location of wedding – venue, city, and state
Date of upcoming wedding
E-mail address where you can be reached
Wedding theme (if you have one)
A photograph (or more if you’d like!) that can help provide a little personality for the designers – this should be a photo of you and your fiancé.
Something special about your relationship – for example, how you met, what makes your relationship special, what you have in common, or what you like doing together
Why you should be one of the 3 couples chosen -be creative, anything goes!

Many of our friends and family won’t be able to make it to our wedding next year. I would use the credit to create a gallery of wedding pics to share with those across the country. I would also print little books of wedding photos for those who can’t travel such as my grandmother.
I would make one of the PhotoShow DVDs. I would love to share our proposal story, etc. with our wedding guests, but can’t afford to ask a photographer to do it. This would get my on my way! I could also get some photo thank you cards, to share our amazing wedding photos!
I would use this money to create a beautiful wedding present for my new husband!
I am making a photobook of our college days and giving it to each one of my bridesmaids as a way to ask them to be in my wedding. I made one for my friends wedding last month and she loved it! Memories are the best gift.
