Bklynpillow started in 2009 when Brooklyn Bride editor, Vané Broussard, saw a clear lack of modern wedding accessories. Pairing her career and access to trade only fabrics as an interior designer, Vané hand-makes the pillows herself for her Etsy shop. Bklynpillow has been featured in magazines and through the blogosphere, and while she’s taking a break from stocking the shop regularly, she will take custom orders time permitting.
