I missed out on giving you some upcoming events last Friday, so here they are today!

La Perla is hosting an event at Saks in honor of their new Bridal Collection…their new stuff is gorgeous!

10. 09. 2009 Happy weekend!

This has been a crazy week of late night events (Bridal Week is in full effect!), so I thought I’d recap some news from the week and stuff coming up….but FIRST….!

Shira sent me her save the date video that she did with her fiance Avi, which was based on a save the date video she saw here on Brooklyn Bride.  The stills were shot by their friend Dan Stein…pretty great right?  You’re looking at 1500 stills just to make this 2+ minute video!

Congrats to Nicole of Nic-Events for the launch of her new site with lots of unseen goodies!

Congrats to Cyd of The Sweetest Occasion for the relaunch of her blog…its official on Monday but you can catch a sneak peek now.  Its a great resource for you upstate brides.

09. 24. 2009 DIY Save the Date: Rachel + Nick

Rachel from Bright Fizz Photo sent me the save the date she and her fiance made as their save the date…pretty easy and cute to boot!

Sooo, if anyone’s got some cool DIY save the dates, send them over…maybe we’ll have enough for another save the date week?  And this time, when sending the photos, if you could include HOW you made it, that would be a help for everyone!  Looking forward to seeing what you guys have got!

09. 18. 2009 Invitations: Alex + Alexis

Alexis’s sister Megan of Brown Parcel Press designed and printed the invitations for his wedding to Alex and they’re totally cool!  Oh yeah, and there’s a VIDEO with a behind the scenes look of printing the invites…check it out!  Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see their 3D save the dates….yeah, 3-friggin-D…complete with your own glasses.  Genius.

09. 18. 2009 Real wedding: Alex + Alexis

So you guys remember Alex and Alexis’s engagement shoot?  Well here they are all grownup and married, and I’m loving it!  They’re on their honeymoon as we speak so, we’re going to have to go on without them, but I think the pics speak volumes as to how cool this event was.  Congrats you two!

Alexis’s sister Megan of Brown Parcel Press did these awesome 3D save the dates and also designed the invites, which I’ll post at 1pm.
