I love getting to know you, my couple, and your families and friends: feeling your energy, anticipating the next moment and creating an image that responds and reflects your own unique story.

I was a dancer my whole life, however, a dancer’s life is short, and when it was time to move on, I searched my soul for something that I could be equally as passionate about. When I processed my first print in the darkroom, I had my “hallelujah moment.” I loved it! Right away, I realized my passion was photographing couples on their wedding day. Over 100 weddings later and I still love it.

Capturing a wedding is like dancing… To be a dancer, you must create a picture with every step, interpret the music, feel the other dancer’s energy, anticipate and respond with your own movement and heart. As a photographer, I capture that with my camera: anticipating, feeling and sensing the next moment and creating an image that responds to what is happening around me.
