02. 25. 2008Stationery + Skirts event recap

Anne, Erica and I [we've become quite the bridal gang] met up at the Stationery + Skirts event this past Saturday in Brooklyn for some fun checking out invites, cake and bridesmaids dresses. NicEvents had some great invites, including ones she did for her own coffee themed wedding [how clever is that??]. She’s a great resource for custom invitations and other paper goodies. Archana from Sweet Melissa was there with some fabulous cake samples…that chocolate devils food cake with vanilla buttercream was to die for! And all their designs are really sleek, especially the black andwhite one they had on display. Last but not least, Kimera Design had some really vibrantly-hued dresses in all shapes and sizes, flattering for all ladies. Her greens would have been the perfect shade for my wedding.
Sorry I haven’t written more….I was catching up on thank you cards from my bridal shower last week, repainting our kitchen, unpacking gifts, AND traveling to NJ!! You can check out more detailed coverage at Perfectbound and Thoughtful Day.
