Real Simple event recap

Whew, I did NOT expect the turnout at the Real Simple event that ended up showing up….the line was wrapped around the block just to get in! Lots of couples, just so excited to start registering and seeing the little vignettes set up…very cute to see for a seasoned engaged lady like myself, but other than that, not much else. I didn’t end up staying much past 7:30p, having already met up with fellow blogger Anne from perfect bound and chit-chatting it up on the second floor couches (had a blast by the way!), so I can’t say what went on afterwards, but I did think there would at least be some speeches or question and answer periods with the editors. Unfortunately, either I missed it or it just didn’t happen.

HOWEVER, there were super cute models serving delicious food and drink (yum for all the senses!), beautiful tables set up in pure Real Simple style, and on display, the wedding dresses of married Real Simple staffers….a very nice touch. All in all, a nice event for the newly engaged!

If anyone has their own reviews of the event, please feel free to post below in the comments!

Meeting up with you was my highlight Vane! I also got a kick out of seeing the Real Simple staff dressed in the J.Crew bridesmaid line. Confirmation that I ADORE their dresses. Your photos look fantastic. You captured the buzz perfectly (or was that just the wine?) Can’t wait until tomorrow’s event!

I thought it was all done well. Honestly, I paid more attention to beefing up my registry and spending time with my bridesmaids, but I had a lot of fun. Plus, I’m really glad I ran into you!

That looked like so much fun! I wish I were there! Thanks for sharing the photos!
