02. 02. 2010Studio tour: Well Spun Wedding Films

Name: jon gangwer
Location: philadelphia, pa
Company: well spun wedding films
What is your aesthetic?: our aesthetic is a mix between modern, vintage & utilitarian
How does your studio style convey your professional aesthetic?: i think our aesthetic conveys out style through its simplicity. we are believers in simplicity through and through. i try to keep it in every element. i also try to keep things balanced.
Favorite part of your studio?: my favorite part of the studio is my little collection of old medicine bottles by the window cill with the cactus, or the wood stove, actually my all-time favorite is when my little daughter comes running over to give me a hug
Where do you go for inspiration?: living in the suburbs, i like to just go outside and peal my eyes away from the computer for inspiration (or) just put on some good tunes.
What tool do you use in your business that you can’t live without?: tool not to live without (i assume we are not allowed to say computer or dunkn donuts?) aside from that, i would say maybe post-its. i know that’s not too interesting, but should fess-up — it’s an addiction.
Is there anything you’d upgrade to?: upgrades? i would love to convert a big old barn into a nice refurbished studio. maybe one day..
