Engagement shoot: Anjum + Mikey

Anjum and Mikey are having an Indian wedding in July 2010. Because their wedding will be a very traditional (and colorful!) Indian wedding, we wanted to do something fun and cross-cultural for their engagement session. We started out with a modern session outside of a really delicious local Sushi restaurant. Then the couple ordered a roll of sushi and drank some bubba tea with funky straws. Finally, we ended up in a more natural setting to take some soft and romantic images.
This engagement session is so great because it became a mix of Japanese, Indian, and American cultures and managed to be modern and fun all at the same time.

Awesome pics, and very cute couple!
Small pet peeve about photog’s site. It doesn’t say anywhere what city/region she is in… hard to scout her for a gig that way!
