11. 17. 2009Studio tour: Dooby Design Group

Name: Aisha Holly
Location: 124 Pearl Street, Suite 503 Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Company: Dooby Design Group
What is your aesthetic?modern with a touch of traditional, clean lines, bright, fresh
How does your studio style convey your professional aesthetic? I’m very fun and outgoing (hence the orange walls). When designing our space, I laid out every single detail in my head then on paper before actually looking for each piece. The same with our clients, we like to get to know you and find out your personalities and story. Thus making each event personal and unique, down to the fine little details.
Favorite part of your studio? My office, it over looks the entire downtown Ypsilanti.
Where do you go for inspiration? Fashion, Home, Architect and of course wedding magazines/articles.
What tool do you use in your business that you can’t live without? My Mac, can’t live without nor do business:)
Is there anything you’d upgrade to? Yes, I would love to one day have a store front. The view is lovely up here but the interaction with people coming in and out everyday; would be awesome!!

Wow… This really makes me want to update my studio. I love the amount of organization I am seeing in the pictures. Is this really how your studio looks at all times? If so, I need a few pointers

The orange color and the modern square, geometric look is very, very nice! The white color is the perfect contrast for the orange studio.
