Bridal blog Holiday Card Swap!

I don’t know about you guys, but I love getting mail….especially the snail mail kind. With this blog, I’ve gotten to know a lot of you and my fellow bridal bloggers, and thought how nice it would be to be able to send some holiday cheer everyone’s way! Best way I can think of is a Holiday Card Swap!
So here’s how it works:
- Send an email to me at brooklynbride [at] gmail [dot] com with Holiday Card Swap in the subject line by November 21 [day before Thanksgiving]. Include your name, address, email address, and website/blog address [if you have one].
- By December 1, I will have emailed you the names and addresses of up to 5 people to send cards to.
- Your cards can be store bought or handmade [think Gocco, glitter, photoshop, cut + paste, sewing, etc....]
- Send out your cards by December 15 at the latest!
- Wait patiently by your mailbox!
Happy swapping!!
[this swap WILL be open to international readers, so pay attention to extra postage needs]

I want to play too! But, forgive my ignorance — are we just sending one card to each person? Or are we sending them a bunch?
November 15th, 2007 at 1:42 pm
each person will get 1 card from each person in their swap group. so in the end, everyone should get a card from 5 different people.

Like you I prefer snail mail especially greeting cards. Holiday cards and postcards are cheaper and easier to send than ever. Without leaving your home you can have a postcard in the mail the very next day with a handful of online providers. My personal favorite is Send Out Cards. They have over 13,000 cards to choose from. The system is so easy to use that I have paid for your first two greeting cards and postage. Anyone reading this post can send a card on my dime absolutely free. This is not an ecard it’s a real printed greeting card that will arrive in your mailbox in 3-4 business days. Try it you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
