Highline bridal shoot

Now that The Highline is open to the public here in NYC, I’m going to take a wild guess and say we’re going to be seeing a lot more bridal shoots there…these were taken by Annabel of Belathée Photography.

We were on the highline the day it opened for our engagement shots!!! We are waiting on the pictures. I was so lucky to shoot with Laura Taylor from The Darling Life Photography. It is SOOOO cool up there.

I have to say it looked much cooler back in the days when you had to illegally squeeze under a rusty metal gate to get up there. Still, wouldn’t that be a fabulous place to actually get married, too? I’d totally do that.

Wow!! I’d never heard of this, but I checked out the website and did some reading. What an awesome reuse!! Very cool. Someday when I visit NYC again, I’ll have to check it out.

WOW, it’s amazing how I stumbled on to this site. I had no clue about the High Line project but I’m sure glad I know now :)

You know what, as soon as I saw the bride’s dress I immediately knew I’d seen it before. There was a picture of the couple in a Gawker post a while back. Funny! http://gawker.com/5283608/new-park-already-ruined-by-weddings

I’m so happy to see these photos! I chose the High Line for my engagement shoot, which we’re doing this weekend at sunset. I’ll be sure to send you the link to the photos after I post them! Stacey Ilyse Photography will be shooting them for us.
