06. 17. 2009Save the Date: Christine + Rama
My husband Rama and I are both artists with a special fondness for children’s book illustration, so our wedding theme was vintage + children’s book + and just plain sweet. Our printed materials were inspired by The Little Prince, one of our favorite books. For the save-the-date, Rama drew a portrait of me as a girl and I drew a portrait of him as a boy, and the two versions were sent out to our respective families and friends. The story continues — and the two drawings coming together — with our invitations.

I love the way this save the date imagery seems to be inspired by the book Le Petit Prince. Very cute! Very fun!
