ABOUT
Tory Williams brings a fresh perspective to wedding photography. She focuses on telling a story with her images by capturing the personal moments and details that make each wedding unique. Tory goes beyond the surface to find family connections and those unique instances that are commonly missed by an outsider coming in. In the end she creates a portfolio of images that relive and share these memories for generations.
Tory graduated from Skidmore College where she studied Studio Art and French. While at Skidmore Tory lived in Paris for a year working as an apprentice and developed her passion for photography. Post-graduation Tory moved to New York City and studied at the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts. For the past five years, she has been shooting weddings in the United States and abroad. In January 2009 she completed a series of weddings in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Photo District News recently awarded Tory as a “Top Knot” photographer in April 2009.

We hired Tory to photograph our wedding this past September (2009) & could not have been happier with the results. Her positive energy is both calming and contagious. She made us feel comfortable and captured moments that I forgot even happened until I looked through her photos. It is important to like whomever is photographing your wedding because they are following you around all day long. Chances are you’ll like Tory so much, you’ll walk away from your wedding with both great photos and a new friend.
