Jordan’s Testimonial: One minute after walking into to Amy’s beautiful office I knew I was going to work with her. Amy is friendly, creative and truly wants to make you happy. We sat and talked for seemed like minutes but it was actually an hour. She had asked me to bring in samples of what I had in mind as far as colors, images etc. Once we chatted and I gave her my stuff we are off and running. I think it was about a week later I had the sketch of my wedding suite. One word…breathtaking. Amy had captured everything. I was so thrilled I could barely contain myself. Over the next couple weeks Amy and I were in constant contact to make sure everything was perfect. She came up with custom made stamps for the outside of my envelopes with the perfect color ink. She found me a calligrapher. She did it all and I will be forever grateful. My invitations just went out this week and the feedback has been incredible. I have received numerous phone calls from friends and family saying how wonderful they are. One of my girlfriends did not want to send back the RSVP card because she loved it so much! I am in Catering Sales at the W Hotel in Union Square and have worked with many vendors. Never ever have I met someone with Amy’s style!
Lauren’s Testimonial: Professionalism is a concept that means something different to each person you ask. ABCD Design embodied this idea in my mind, with their immaculate attention to detail. As much as I promised myself I would not become one of those lunatic, can’t tell up from down brides, it inevitably happened. As a result, ABCD assessed my needs and went above and beyond providing invitations, thank you cards, and personalized rubber stamps to add an even further creative touch to what could have been very boring wedding mail received by all of my guests. ABCD went even one more step further by taking on the organization of my invite list and providing fulfillment of the invitations in addition to having them designed and printed.
Another hallmark of ABCD’s professionalism was that owner, Amy Beth Cupp Dragoo, actually listened to my ideas and helped me to build on them. When I mentioned I wanted a very rustic outdoorsy feel to my centerpieces, she recommended very affordable and creative options to keep our theme of Southern Comfort running throughout the entire event.
Lastly, there are no limits on bridal resources available however; I was a very reluctant bride. I have no older sisters, aunts, or cousins from whom to draw on their previous bridal experience. This lack of knowledge about weddings and how to plan what when, and who to call, left me feeling a little lost and very insecure. At no point in time did ABCD take advantage of my naiveté; instead, owner Amy willingly answered my most ridiculous questions, and showed me the importance of inflecting personal touches, that would make my wedding day uniquely mine.
