When my parents got married (in Lithuania) they didn’t have things like this. They grew up poor and my dad saved money to throw a wedding and they had a friend take the pictures. Those photos have been neatly arranged in a box for years. Almost all of them are black and white and sepia. Their 35 wedding anniversary is coming up and I have been in the process of scanning these photos to make a book for them. I think my mother would cry when they see my gift because my sister and soon myself ( I am engaged) have (or will have) these beautiful wedding books and my mom never thought about having on of her own :-)

  34. Kristen Says:

  48. Lauren Says:

I would use this to put together the story of how my fiance and I got engaged. We moved from our little corner of Seattle, flew down to LA, then took the train across the country. As the train pulled out of Union station in LA, my fiance got down on one knee (as best he could in those tiny sleeper cars) and proposed! And here we are over a year later in New York…the adventure continues!
