Design Inspo: Lace

lace inspiration detailsLace is no longer a thing of the past. The beautiful material lends itself to taking on modern forms as well as the delicate. I just love the way that, by being naturally holey, it can take on a sense of depth and create interesting shadows by playing with light. Imagine a beautiful wall of lace (like this fence by Demakersvan) as a backdrop in front of colored lights. The shadows would add so much depth to any experience.

enjoy. with love, Catherine (local social)
