Save yourself some time and go with Daniel. A lot of wedding photographers are well … cheesy. Daniel is not cheesy. There is a simple elegance to his work that really comes through. Everyone one who has seen our wedding pictures has paused nodded and said, “That guy is good.” These are professional visual artist friends of ours not just our moms. He is super laid back and easy to work with. We can’t say enough good things. The pictures are absolutely beautiful.

We were married in August at NYC City Hall for a low key family affair. The celebration continued through the weekend and Daniel was there to capture so much of the beauty of it all. He has a laid back presence that made it a treat to work with him. We met at Frankies Sputino in Brooklyn and took a walk around Cobble Hill for some casual photos. The weather was perfect, before sunset, and Daniel was able to capture the wonderful light. During our family ‘rehearsal dinner’ he was able to take photos of each member of our large extended family spontaneously throughout the dinner without intruding on the event. The photos were just amazing–of the environment, the food, and especially the family members (the young nephews and nieces were captured particularly well even though they never sat still!) The next day we had formal posed photos with our families and each other taken around DUMBO. The big celebration occurred at Superfine–and again, Daniel captured every special moment without intrusion. The space, the flowers, the live performances, the food, the dancing, were all photographed with artistic creativity. He was great to work with! Thank you, Daniel!! We are so very happy that Daniel was available to work on our wedding. We found his Wedding Photography Blog on the internet and were really impressed with the style of his photography. Both Daniel and his second photographer Ryan had incredible energy – taking lots of pictures of guests and events during the whole day. This was very important as the entire day is still a blur and having these pictures helped us remember how much fun the day was. He really captured the essence and vibe of the day – and we are still getting compliments on how beautiful our wedding pictures are. He is extremely patient and accommodated us in more ways than expected. We wanted to take some pictures by the Verrazano Bridge between the ceremony and reception, but we were short on time – and while several people tried to talk us out of it, Daniel agreed we could pull it off in time and the pictures came out beautiful!! (Thanks Daniel!). Daniel is great with communications and responded to all my emails and phone calls really quickly – very important for stressed out brides. He was able to provide us with the DVD of our wedding photos a few weeks after the wedding – which was great because we were really excited to see how his shots came out – and they came out AMAZING! We love the photos; they are a great reflection of one of the best days of our life together!!

We did alot of research on photographers in the area and the moment we found Daniel we knew he would be fantastic. The photos from our wedding day at The Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle are stunning. We received numerous compliments from friends and family on how gorgeous and unique our photos were. An added bonus is that we got our photos so quickly! Daniel is a true proffesional and a joy to work with. I am so glad we found him!

My wife and I did a lot of research for a photographer for our wedding at the Liberty House Restaurant in New Jersey. When we visited Daniel’s web site we really liked what we saw. After having our initial meeting with him we were impressed by his friendly and professional nature, and particularly how confident he seemed about being able to do a great job with our wedding, which included among other things, an outdoor Hindu ceremony, a ferry boat, several wardrobe changes and a few hundred people, and was therefore a bit logistically complex. Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding Daniel was great with keeping the lines of communication open and helping us problem solve with regard to some of the more delicate timing issues that we had. On the day of the wedding Daniel and Ryan (the 2nd photographer that Daniel brought) were on time, polite and professional. As the wedding progressed, they were both completely non-intrusive and most of the time we didn’t know they were there. We didn’t have much time between our ceremony and reception but Daniel made sure to get some great portraits of just the two of us in a very time-efficient manner, making sure to also include the finer details like my wife’s henna and our wedding rings. When we received the finished product (which was delivered very promptly) we were blown away by the quality of the photos. Several people that I’ve shown them to have stated that they are the best wedding photos that they’ve ever seen. Daniel’s artistic vision is fantastic and we’re so happy that we have tangible memories of that day presented through his skillful photographic eye. We recommend him unconditionally to anyone looking for a photographer. Thanks Daniel!

My husband and I hired Daniel for our August ’10 wedding in NYC. He was great from the first meeting! He was always professional and receptive to our needs. His e-mail response and photo turnaround times were excellent (no e-mail went unnoticed, even when he was out of the country on business). During our event, he was polite and worked without us even noticing. Our photos turned out excellent! The best part is he sends you a DVD of all your photos, full resolution, and it’s even in awesome packaging. Daniel cuts no corners; he has exceeded our expectations. Worth EVERY penny.

Joe and I were married at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook, NY in July 2010. I saw Daniel’s website and was amazed at how different his pictures were from other photographers. I went with my gut instinct and booked Daniel shortly after meeting with him. I’m so glad I trusted my instincts! There are no words for the feelings I have when I look at our wedding pictures. Daniel put an artistic spin on every picture he took, which made our pictures so different! He was snapping shots all day long, without anyone knowing he was taking their picture. He did an amazing job and I’m so grateful we chose him!

Photography was very important to us and Daniel was the first vendor we booked after we were engaged…like 2 days after… We had admired Daniels brooklyn wedding photography for ages before we were even engaged, he is truly an exceptional photographer. He captured all the moments that we could have thought to ask for, and so many more that we will cherish forever. The shots are set up so beautifully, he made us and our guests look superb!

I could not imagine what our wedding would have been like without Daniel. He did a superb job, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or more wonderful photos. He truly went above and beyond what I thought was possible for a wedding photographer. My husband was amazed with his skills and creative eye.

We have received tons of compliments, not only on his performance the day of the wedding, but of the spectacular moments Daniel was able to catch throughout the evening.

Daniel was noninvasive and took a photo journalistic approach – which is one of the reasons we chose him to begin with. He was able to capture the emotions that were experienced that day – I look at some of my pictures and am able to feel what I felt at that moment and see what others were feeling. For most of the day I completely forgot he was there, in fact my husband and I were amazed with how active he was when we saw the wedding video – he was moving around a 1,000 seat theater like a marathon runner, one moment at the back and the next right on stage. He was able to blend into the day rather than constantly asking people to pose. Everything was very natural and it brought out the true beauty of everyone that attended the event.

I really couldn’t have asked for more!
