Colorstory: Gingham

I thought I’d challenge myself this week to make gingham modern…and yes, it can be done!  There’s 2 ways to do this….either use an exaggerated scale, like as seen in the flooring of the Moooi gallery or in the gingham plates, or just use touches of gingham with lots of white.

Just goes to show you that a pattern doesn’t dictate whether something can be modern, traditional or vintage, but the accessories and how you combine the pieces do! Gingham goes modern, love it! Seems like this would make for a great outdoor, summer or spring wedding.

Great insight on how to “jazz up” a very traditional pattern!
