   Very neat idea!

   But it should be “we’re” not “were”

   “Were” would imply that they used to be engaged, but not anymore.

   not a typo! the poster is saying they WERE engaged at the park on that date…just announcing HOW they got engaged.

   (i did initially think it was a typo too)

    I just figured out this has a HUGE typo. “were engaged”?…not anymore?
