Oscar fashion picks
There were definitely some misses last night at the Oscars, but here are some ladies that did it up right! Far and away my favorite was Cate Blanchett’s Givenchy stunner…she always brings the most architectural and daring dresses to life.

I completely agree with all of your picks! Michelle Williams can do no wrong in my eyes, she’s always quite lovely. My only comment would be that Mila Kunis kept me on the edge of my seat with her low cut gown. I think taking it up 1/4 inch would have given the same effect without the threat of a wardrobe malfunction. Just my two cents.

All are quite lovely! My favorites were Mila & Cate too, plus I adored Mandy Moore’s Monique Lhuillier gown.

I like Michelle Williams but didn’t like this dress on her… with her perfect makeup and hair the total look definitely has an ethereal prettiness about it, but the dress does nothing for her figure. It makes her chest look squished, her waist undefined, and the neckline looks like a stretched out t-shirt. I know it’s Chanel, but still. Amy Adams had a similar silhouette (high neckline/short sleeves/sheath skirt/all-over beading) that was so much more flattering!
