Lindsay’s save the dates

Lindsay can’t decide which version she prefers….I definitely like the second one best! Anyone else?

Me too… I vote for the second one!

  2. jln* Says:

love them both, but like the 1st one better. it’s more “wedding-y”

I agree with jln, I like the first better. However, I think it depends on if it is going with a “theme” or not. If she has an obviously “wood”ed theme, then the second fits better – maybe just with some changes.

The second one is a lot cuter in its simplicity, although I can’t help being drawn back to the first because of all the lovely flower detail. I think it depends what kind of feel she’s going for in her wedding – vintage or cute and simple.

I agree. If she’s not tied down to the font, she could change it so that it looks like etchings in a tree – carved hearts and names, things of that sort. It would also probably make it stand out better.

  6. Beth Says:

Oh my gosh…I LOVE the first one!!! Where are these from? Did she design them herself? The first one is so different and beautiful!

  7. Ashley Says:

oh, wow! I actually thought the first one was the front, and the second was the back.. and then I was in love! So, I guess I’d say, why not make it double sided! Then put something simple on the front (maybe just names) and most the words on the back… either way though, it’s all lovely!

  8. Bethany Says:

i love the first one!!! the second is simpler and more “moderny” but the first has such a beautiful flower design… and an anthropologie-esque feel

  9. Sara Says:

The first one is really cute! They’re both good, but i like the color palatte and scratchy font of #1

  10. Lindsay Says:

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments! My fiance likes the first one and I like the second. I have a back side designed for each one too, so I think we will just print 50 of each design and send them out randomly.

*beth – I did the layout myself but purchased the digital papers from Designer Digitals

  11. Heather from the bar Says:

The second one, but with a bolder font :)

  12. Beth Says:

Can I ask which designer on Designer Digitals? I just went through like, 50 pages of products and didn’t see any as beautiful. My Save the Date’s probably aren’t going out for months, but I haven’t been STRUCK by anything as pretty as those!

  13. Stephanie Rice Says:

I vote for the first one!

    Second one!

  15. Lindsay Says:

Beth – the papers artists are Andrea Victoria and Dana Zarling. Good luck and congrats on your engagement!

  16. Beth Says:

Thanks so much for sharing! You’re the best!! Thanks again and good luck on the rest of your wedding planning too! :o )
