Christine’s save the date

Huge fan of your blog! Wanted to pass along my save the dates as they have been my first labor of love during my wedding planning process.

My fiance Jon and I are getting married in my hometown of Buffalo. Our whole theme (if you can call it that!) is “vintage flea market.” We made all 110 STDs ourselves (yes Jon even got into our little craft project!) Each Save the Date is unique – they all feature different mini postcards of landmarks in Buffalo and each STD has a different vintage paper calendar. The calendar was cut out of a regular file folder, we printed all the calendar pages ourselves, pasted them all together and inked all the edges of everything to give it that “old” look. The mini “vintage postcards” were two sided with all of our wedding info on the backside. The postcards are affixed to the calendars with little clothespins, brass fasteners, and various other vintage clips.

They came out exactly as I had hoped – hope you enjoy them as well!!!
